The following are some images from a recent shoot at the Hilton Conrad Maldives. The Maldives is one of those places where you have to pinch yourself every so often to make sure it’s real. Never before have I experienced the ocean so blue, so clear, so warm…a truly surreal experience!

Santorini, Mykonos, and Athens!

I recently spent a week and a half in Greece, photographing the picturesque cities of Santorini, Mykonos, and Athens. Athens’ ancient ruins and rich history; Mykonos’ beaches, waterfront markets, windmills, and nightlife – these were among the highlights of the trip. The showstopper, though, was Santorini. The sea of white buildings and blue domed churches built atop dramatic, steep cliffs is a sight unlike any other. Santorini is without a doubt one of the most picturesque places I have visited. When you combine this with top-notch hospitality, stunning sunsets, and scores of excellent cafes and restaurants, you have all the ingredients for a fantastic vacation.

Phuket, Thailand – Amazing Blue Waters, Beaches, and Scenery!

Highlights include Maya Bay / Maya Beach (where “The Beach” was filmed), Phang Nga Bay, Koh Phi Phi, James Bond Island (where one of the first 007′s was filmed; aka Khao Phing Kan).

My wife and I just returned from an incredible trip to Thailand. We split our time between Phuket, Chiang Mai, and Bangkok. The beaches of Phuket were as impressive as they were blue. The elephant camps, cooking classes, and cuisine in Chiang Mai were adventures unlike any other. And the majestic temples, long tail boat rides, and floating markets of Bangkok were experiences we’ll never forget. While the flying time from JFK to Bangkok leaves a lot to be desired, Thailand, in my opinion, offers the perfect blend of relaxation and adventure.
